Training Needs Identification
Training needs are identified based on job descriptions, process requirements, regulatory obligations, and individual development plans. Each position within the company has a clearly defined job description outlining required qualifications, skills, and responsibilities.
When a new employee is hired, a training plan is developed, which includes general orientation, job-specific training, and an overview of ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements related to medical devices. This plan is tailored depending on whether the employee works in quality control, manufacturing, design, or support functions.
Training Process
- Induction Training
All new employees undergo induction training, which includes:
- Introduction to the company and its QMS.
- Explanation of the Quality Policy and objectives.
- Overview of ISO 13485 and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Safety and compliance procedures.

- On-the-Job Training
Department managers and qualified trainers provide hands-on training specific to the employee's role. This may include operating equipment, performing inspections, or handling documentation. - Refresher Training

Staff involved in design, regulatory affairs, internal audits, or risk management receive additional training related to ISO 14971, regulatory updates, and validation procedures, as required.
Competency Evaluation

Results are documented and stored as part of the employee’s training record.

Monitoring and Improvement
